Yosuke Ozawa

Studied bioinformatics at Keio University and worked as a researcher at IBM Research. He then moved to the UK, single-handedly built the core system and 9 fundamental patents for startup Ecrebo, growing it to a valuation exceeding 10 billion yen. After returning to Japan, he led information systems development for the experimental robot 'Mahoro' at AIST technology transfer venture RBI Inc., before founding Epistra. Published original papers in mathematical optimization, databases, and computational biology.

Studied systems biology at Keio University and demonstrated project management skills in software development while still a student. He accumulated extensive management experience in IT companies, including development and operations of mobile carrier payment systems, oversight of development departments, ISMS, and establishment of new companies. He also contributed to the establishment of NPO Whole Brain Architecture Initiative. Joined RBI Inc. and later co-founded Epistra. US PMI certified PMP.

Developed E-Cell, the world's first whole-cell simulator, and was involved in establishing RBI Inc. as its first CIO. Published numerous papers in robotic biology, cell simulation, and brain-inspired AI. Advocate of AI-driven science.
